All travellers now have the opportunity to help local charities by filling United Way’s collection globes with small change and foreign currency. Conveniently located in the Departure Lounge at Brisbane’s International Airport and Queen Street Mall, United Way Queensland has installed collection globes to relieve you of those weighty coins. You will also find a United Way Queensland Collection globe in the Queen Street Mall at the Brisbane City Council Information booth.

Gadens Lawyers have given their staff an opportunity to contribute to charities by placing a collection globe in their staff canteen, supporting the work of United Way. We are encouraging all companies to consider a simple means of helping those less fortunate - collection globe on their workplace – it is easy, United Way Queensland will take care of the organisation for you. It is amazing how all those small amounts add up to become a significant donation with a major impact. All funds raised through coin collections will be directed to local charities receiving grants from the United Way Queensland Community Impact Fund. Funds will support Community Partners to implement projects that are not funded through government grants or other sources.
